Deadly Police Shootout with Suspected Abductor on Virginia Interstate.
A police chase on Interstate 95 ended in a deadly shootout between Virginia State Police and a man suspected of abducting a woman from New York on her birthday. The suspect, identified as Michael Davis, was in a previous relationship with the victim and has a four-year-old child with her. The victim, Tatiana N. David, died at the scene, and Davis was flown to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The troopers involved in the shooting have been placed on administrative leave, and the investigation remains ongoing.
