Mother of 'Sandlot' Actor Found Murdered, Suspect Arrested
Deanna Esmaeel, the mother of "The Sandlot" actor Marty York, was found dead in her Northern California home, and a suspect, Daniel James Walter, has been arrested in Oregon. Esmaeel, a Del Norte County sheriff's deputy, was discovered by officials on Thursday morning. Walter, her boyfriend, was later identified as a suspect and apprehended near the California-Oregon border. York expressed his grief on Instagram, and fellow actors from "The Sandlot" and "Boy Meets World" offered their condolences. Murder charges are expected to be filed next week.
