Kenyan death cult leader denied bond.
A court in Kenya has extended the detention of pastor Paul Mackenzie, who is suspected of leading a death cult and causing the deaths of at least 110 of his congregants. Mackenzie allegedly convinced his followers to starve themselves to death to "meet Jesus." Autopsies on the bodies found on his 800-acre property showed some had died of starvation, strangulation or suffocation. Another pastor with ties to Mackenzie, Ezekiel Odero, has been released on bond. Kenyan President William Ruto has formed a committee of inquiry into the deaths.
