U2's album 'Songs of Surrender' features reimagined tracks, including some of their biggest hits, which have been stripped of their epic brilliance. However, the album also includes thoughtfully reworked deep cuts and early tracks, such as 'Stories For Boys' and '11 O'Clock Tick Tock'. The band's political beliefs are also expressed in the album, with altered lyrics referencing war-torn Ukraine. While some of the big-hitters don't translate well, the album is worth exploring for the reimagined material that's truly worth savouring.
