DeLauter’s 10th-inning blast lifts Guardians past Mariners in extras
Chase DeLauter hit his fourth career home run, a go-ahead shot in the 10th inning, to lift the Cleveland Guardians to a 6-5 win over the Seattle Mariners in 10 innings at T-Mobile Park. Seattle forced extras with a ninth-inning RBI single from Julio Rodríguez to make it 3-3, and Luke Raley added a two-run homer in the 10th before Connor Brogdon closed out the win for Cleveland. Mariners starter Bryan Woo worked five scoreless innings before the Guardians pushed across two in the sixth, and DeLauter’s dramatic 10th capped a back-and-forth night in which Cleveland never trailed after the early frames.
