Platner Exits Maine Senate Race, Resetting Democratic Replacement Process
Graham Platner formally withdrew from the U.S. Senate race in Maine, clearing the way for Democrats to nominate a replacement to challenge Republican Sen. Susan Collins. His departure comes after he suspended his campaign amid rape allegations (which he denies).
