Broncos start 2026 preseason on the road against Falcons, with limited snaps for starters and rookie battles ahead
Denver opens the 2026 preseason on the road vs. the Atlanta Falcons (Aug. 14, 5:00 PM MT) at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The game will be shown on 9NEWS (KUSA-TV) and ESPN. Head coach Sean Payton said starters will get 10–15 plays, but Bo Nix will not play after fracturing his ankle; the night will focus on position battles and rookies fighting for playing time as Denver heads into the rest of the preseason (vs. Packers on Aug. 21 and Vikings on Aug. 28).
