Cities: Skylines 2 Dev Acknowledges Performance Problems, Proceeds with Game Launch
The developer and publisher of Cities: Skylines 2, Colossal Order and Paradox, have acknowledged that the game's performance falls short of their target, but they will still release it on PC as planned on October 24. They emphasized transparency and their commitment to continually improving the game's performance based on player feedback. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S versions have been delayed to spring 2024, and modding will be available shortly after the PC launch, including cross-platform mod support through Paradox Mods.
