Googlebooks adds AI-powered file collections for desktop organization
Googlebooks will automatically group local files into topic-based “collections” using AI, accessible via desktop widgets, and can share files directly with Gemini Notebook (up to 200MB). The feature, part of the Device Intelligence initiative, is expected ahead of a mid-September launch, with the ability to toggle sorting on/off and assurances that files don’t leave Googlebooks or train the AI.
