James Gunn, the new co-boss of DC Studios, believes there are "too many" superhero movies and shows and that lazy storytelling is a bigger issue facing the genre. Gunn suggests having different genres within the larger superhero movie genre instead of the same story being told repeatedly. He is writing and directing "Superman: Legacy" and is also involved in the new DC Universe film slate, which will include "Supergirl: World of Tomorrow" and "Batman: The Brave and the Bold." Gunn assures fans that the company will not "overextend" itself with content.
