
Ubisoft Bets on Digital PlayStations to Offset Sony's Disc Shutdown Fallout
Ubisoft’s CFO Frédérick Duguet argues that cheaper all-digital PlayStation consoles could offset the industry impact of Sony’s plan to stop producing new disc-based games from January 2028, suggesting digital access helps lower barriers and won’t significantly disrupt the market.
