Daniels weighs season-ending surgery vs. rehab after second elbow dislocation
Jayden Daniels’ second left-elbow dislocation puts the Washington Commanders QB at a crossroads: surgery that would likely end his season vs. non-surgical rehab with bracing, guided by MRI findings, ligament stability, pain, and the team’s risk tolerance. Doctors note the injury’s ligament damage risk and unusual recurrence, and final plans will depend on how much rehabilitation restores stability, the non-throwing nature of the arm, and Daniels’ and Washington’s risk appetite, with past returns having ended in re-injury.
