Disney Names Karandeep Anand Its First CTO to Accelerate AI-Driven Creativity
Disney has appointed Karandeep Anand, the former CEO of Character.AI, as its first chief technology officer, effective Oct. 2, to lead enterprise tech, data and AI initiatives across the company and help modernize its technology stack; Anand brings experience from Brex, Meta and Microsoft, and his hire underscores Disney’s push to fuse storytelling with advanced tech, after Disney pressed Character.AI over copyright concerns last year.
