FedEx Fires Black Delivery Driver After Alleged Attack by White Father and Son
FedEx has fired D'Monterrio Gibson, a Black delivery driver who reported being attacked by two White men in Mississippi in 2022. Gibson, who was not injured in the incident, had been on worker's compensation leave and in therapy for anxiety. The father and son charged in the attack recently had a mistrial declared due to police errors. Gibson's attorney plans to file a new civil suit seeking $10 million, while FedEx has not provided further details about the termination.
