At least 209 Pakistanis were among the victims of the recent boat tragedy off the coast of Greece, according to data shared by the Federal Investigation Agency. The official death toll stands at 82, with 104 survivors, of whom 12 were Pakistani. The FIA has registered 54 cases against human smugglers and collected 167 DNA samples to identify the victims. The government is yet to officially confirm the number of its citizens on the boat, but investigations are underway.
