"Russian Paratroopers Suffer Devastating Losses in Ukraine's Dnipro Bridgehead Offensive"
Russia's newly-formed 104th Air Assault Division suffered heavy losses and failed to achieve its objectives during its combat debut in an attack on Ukraine's Dnipro Bridgehead. The division, which was meant to make up for previous losses, was reportedly poorly supported and inexperienced. Ukrainian marines, supported by artillery, drones, and radio-jamming, have successfully held the bridgehead against Russian forces. While the Ukrainians are not yet poised to break out into southern Kherson Oblast, holding the bridgehead opens up the possibility of launching an offensive in the future.
