
Xiaomi Unveils 18 Fold, a Flagship Foldable with Leica Cameras
Xiaomi today announced the 18 Fold, its first large-format foldable smartphone, featuring a 5.38-inch outer and 7.58-inch inner LTPO display with 120Hz refresh, a new Dragon Bone hinge, and the in-house Xring O3 3nm chip with strong CPU/GPU/NPU gains. Leica-tuned 200MP main, 50MP ultrawide, and 50MP periscope telephoto cameras back the rear array; a 6,000mAh battery supports 67W wired and 50W wireless charging. Pricing starts at 10,999 yuan (~$1,638) for the base 12GB/256GB model, up to 14,999 yuan for top configurations, and a Ceramic Special Edition limited to 1,500 units. Availability is currently China-only, with Apple’s foldable iPhone expected to be unveiled soon at its event.
