Interpol chief in Peru dismisses claims that the Dutch embassy tried to interfere with the extradition of Joran van der Sloot, the suspect in the Natalee Holloway case, to the US to face federal charges. The Dutch authorities collaborated with Peru and provided van der Sloot with an emergency passport, which he refused to sign, forcing immigration authorities to issue him with official exit documents. Van der Sloot is being held without bail as he awaits trial.
