Fatal Shootout Unfolds in Birmingham's Busy Streets
A man was killed in a possible running gun battle near a Shell gas station on East Lake Boulevard in Birmingham. The shootout occurred between two vehicles, and the victim was struck while inside his vehicle. Several houses were also hit by gunfire. No arrests have been made, and police believe the victim was targeted. This incident marks the city's 124th homicide this year.
