Eight-ounce Gloves Locked In as Garcia-Benn Pass Weigh-In
Garcia weighed 145.5 pounds and Benn 146, both under the 147-pound limit, meaning they’ll fight with eight-ounce gloves in Las Vegas after a glove-weight waiver was withdrawn. The resolution ends the glove controversy, while Benn’s ability to absorb Garcia’s power in the smaller gloves and Garcia’s edge in distance control shape the matchup as they prepare for the bout at T-Mobile Arena.
