Eighties LA Gets Glitzy and Grim in The Shards Trailer
The Shards, a Ryan Murphy–produced adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis's novel, drops its first trailer, placing a sex-soaked, killer-filled Eighties Los Angeles backdrop around Bret (Igby Rigney) and a mysterious new student (Homer Gere) as a spree of teen-targeted murders hits their private-school circle; the series debuts August 5 on Hulu and FX with two episodes.
