RHOC Alum's Ex-Boyfriend Receives 6-Year Prison Sentence for Assault and Threats.
Ryan Matthew Geraghty, the ex-boyfriend of former Real Housewives of Orange County cast member Elizabeth Lyn Vargas, has been sentenced to six years in prison after pleading guilty to attacking her. Geraghty was arrested in February 2022 after a two-hour standoff with police at Vargas' home. He was charged with multiple felonies, including assault with a firearm and corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant. Vargas, who detailed her past growing up in a cult on the show, thanked the Newport Beach Police Department for rescuing her from the situation.
