Apple TV+ Delivers 2027 Release Date for Jessica Chastain Thriller The Savant
Apple TV+ has finally keyed in a spring 2027 release for Jessica Chastain's thriller The Savant, after a year-long hold that followed concerns about its depiction of extremist activity and triggering imagery. The series, from Melissa James Gibson, Fifth Season, and Anonymous Content, centers on an undercover investigator who infiltrates online hate groups to prevent domestic extremism. Although delayed before its planned Sept. 26, 2025 premiere, Apple TV+ says the project is not canceled and is targeting Emmy eligibility in 2027 with a new release window.
