Windows 11's 3D emoji arrives after long wait
Microsoft is finally testing new 3D emoji designs in the latest Windows 11 Insider Preview Build, almost two years after they were first announced. The new emoji have a more modern and 3D appearance, similar to the ones released in Microsoft Teams last year. The previous flat emoji in Windows 11 may have been placeholders, as Microsoft continued working on the 3D versions. The new emoji will be available in Windows 11 and some apps and browsers. To try them out, users can sign up for the Windows Insider program and download the latest build.
