Amazon Requires Remote Workers to Relocate for Office Return
Amazon will require some corporate employees to relocate as part of a mandate requiring workers to be in the office three days a week, causing strain between the tech giant and its workforce. The decision on who will have to relocate and how many employees will be affected will be made at the department level. Remote workers hired or moved during the pandemic will have to relocate closer to offices to meet the new requirement. The move has sparked protests and affected morale at Amazon, following layoffs that began last year.
