
Tesla Data Breach: 75,735 People Affected, Workers Notified
Two former Tesla employees are accused of mishandling employee data, resulting in a data breach that leaked personal information of over 75,000 individuals to a foreign media outlet. Tesla took immediate legal action, seizing the employees' equipment and obtaining court orders to prohibit further use of the data. Social Security numbers and other personal identifying information were compromised. Tesla is offering credit monitoring and identity detection services to those affected.
