Disney and WWE Expand Alliance with December Events at Wide World of Sports
The Walt Disney Co. and WWE have expanded their partnership by hosting two major events at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando next month. The John Cena Classic will take place on December 14, followed by an Avengers: Doomsday-themed edition of Worlds Collide on December 15. This move extends their collaboration beyond ESPN broadcasting rights into live experiences and retail, leveraging Disney’s expertise in large-scale event hosting.
