Ferrari to Launch Electric Supercar in 2025, Challenges from Chinese EVs
Ferrari is set to launch its first fully electric supercar in 2025 and is warning European automakers about the rising competition from Chinese EVs. Ferrari's CEO, Benedetto Vigna, views this as a "call to action" for Europe amid escalating trade tensions between China and the EU. While Ferrari plans to keep its China sales below 10% due to existing tariffs, it is advancing its electric vehicle strategy with a new EV factory in Italy and aims for 60% of its sales to be hybrid and electric by 2026.
