MLB brings Cubs and Cardinals to London Stadium for World Tour.
MLB is back in London with a two-game series between the Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals, after a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the MLB lockout. The league is hoping to reignite the momentum it had in 2019 and grow its European fan base. MLB's Europe office has been focusing on getting Europeans to pay greater attention to baseball on a daily basis, ramping up the league's content offering in Europe and partnering with British faces to introduce fans to the game. MLB has an agreement to host further series in London until 2026, with an eye to make London home.
