Star Trek Turns 60 With Global Screenings, Specials and a Vulcan Salute World Record
To mark Star Trek’s 60th anniversary on Sept. 8, a global slate of events includes free screenings of The Man Trap and a new Strange New Worlds episode at the Autry Museum, 4K restorations in 750 theaters, ET Vault Unlocked interviews, Star Trek-themed CBS specials, a Nick at Nite Big Bang Theory marathon, and a London Science Museum Vulcan Salute Guinness World Record attempt, plus cross-promotions with Samsung, ESA, DarkSky International, and the National Park Foundation.
