Nvidia Ensures Compliance with US Export Regulations for New China Chips
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang announced that the company will continue to develop new products that comply with U.S. export regulations regarding high-end chip exports to China. Nvidia, which currently dominates over 90% of China's $7 billion AI chip market, is facing increased competition from Chinese rivals due to tightening U.S. restrictions. The company plans to work closely with the U.S. government to create a new set of products that adhere to the new regulations. Nvidia had previously warned of a significant drop in fourth-quarter sales in China due to the new rules. Additionally, the company is in discussions with Singapore regarding potential major investments.
