Windows 11 Gains a Quiet Photo Hub: OneDrive Photos
Microsoft quietly added a new OneDrive Photos app to Windows 11 that lets you organize, edit, back up, and view photos in a dedicated hub. It works without signing in but full cloud features require OneDrive; features include Gallery, Moments, Albums, and Favorites, plus a People tab that uses facial recognition with a privacy option to delete facial data if desired. The app coexists with the built-in Photos app and the standalone OneDrive app, and its beta status is indicated in the UI.
