Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez: Family leaves for Turkey without missing 6-year-old.
The search for missing 6-year-old Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez, who lived with his mother and siblings in a repurposed shed, is moving towards a criminal investigation, according to Everman police chief Craig Spencer. The family fled the country without Noel, and investigators are gathering evidence from the shed to find clues about his whereabouts. The shed contained toys, clothes, baby products, and food, and police removed documents from the shed. The last time Noel was seen was in November 2022, and an AMBER Alert was issued after an anonymous tip to CPS. The FBI and the Department of Homeland Security have joined the investigation.
