CachyOS Edges Windows 11 on Ryzen AI 9 HX 470, Narrowing Gap With Ubuntu and Fedora
Phoronix benchmarks on the BOSGAME VTA-439 with the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 show CachyOS outperforming Windows 11 in several out-of-the-box workloads, while Ubuntu 26.04 LTS and Fedora Workstation 44 trail with CachyOS delivering a slight edge in this configuration. The tests cover Vulkan/OpenGL, Java/Embree/LuxCore, creator workloads, video encoding and more, using a 12-core/24-thread CPU, Radeon 890M GPU, 32GB RAM and 1TB NVMe SSD.
