Steve Bannon, former White House strategist and 2016 campaign CEO, criticized Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and Elon Musk, CEO of Twitter, outside a New York courtroom where he faces felony money laundering charges. Bannon referred to DeSantis' presidential campaign announcement, which was hosted by Musk on Twitter, as a "complete disaster" and called Musk "owned by the Chinese Communist Party." Bannon's trial is scheduled for May 27, 2024, and he has entered a not guilty plea.
