Palou seals record-breaking fifth IndyCar title in six years
Palou clinched the 2026 IndyCar championship with a race to spare at Milwaukee Mile, becoming the youngest five-time champion and the fastest to five titles in American open-wheel history. In six seasons with Chip Ganassi Racing he posted six wins, eight poles, seven podiums and 673 laps led across 17 races, while Ganassi credited organizational stability and leadership for the record run.
