Sheetz is offering a discount on E85, also known as Flex Fuel, selling it for $1.85 a gallon until April 30. However, this type of gas can only be used in Flexible Fuel Vehicles designed to burn a gasoline-ethanol blend with 51% to 83% ethanol. Regular vehicles cannot use it. Sheetz ran a similar deal on Unleaded 88 last Thanksgiving, which can be used in most vehicles built after 2001.
Sheetz is lowering the price of E85 (Flex Fuel) to $1.85 per gallon from April 17 to midnight on April 30 at all Sheetz locations that sell E85. E85 is a cleaner burning fuel than other fuel grades and is approved for use in “flexible fuel vehicles” designed to run on gasoline or gasoline-ethanol blends of up to 85% ethanol (E85). Customers can check if their local Sheetz sells these fuels quickly through the Sheetz app or website.
