Hong Kong activist Joshua Wong pleads guilty in second national security case
Prominent Hong Kong pro-democracy activist Joshua Wong pleads guilty to conspiring to seek foreign sanctions against Hong Kong and China under the national security law, a charge that can carry life imprisonment. Wong has been detained since 2020 and faces sentencing later; this is his second NSL case after a 2022 subversion conviction.
