Mitsubishi’s Foxconn-Built ASX VR-e Returns to Australia with 459 hp and 3.9-Second Acceleration
Mitsubishi is relaunching in Australia with the ASX VR-e, an electric small SUV built by Foxconn’s Foxtron division in Taiwan. The flagship GSR model features dual motors, 459 hp, and 700 Nm of torque, achieving 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds. While the vehicle offers strong performance and Pininfarina styling, it uses a small 57.7 kWh battery with limited charging speeds, and North American availability remains uncertain.
