El Salvador's Bitcoin initiatives gain global attention and investment
El Salvador's National Bitcoin Office has received hundreds of inquiries and "many dozens of applications" for its $1 million Freedom Visa program, which grants residency and a pathway to citizenship for a Bitcoin or Tether donation. The office expects the program to sell out by the end of the year.
