
Nadia Farès, The Crimson Rivers Star, Dies at 57
Nadia Farès, the Moroccan-French actress known for The Crimson Rivers, died at 57 after being found unconscious in a Paris gym pool and succumbing to cardiac arrest following a coma; an investigation into the injuries is underway. Born in Marrakesh in 1968 and raised in Nice, she rose to fame opposite Jean Reno and Vincent Cassel, later appeared in War (2007) and Netflix’s Marseille, moved to the U.S. after marrying producer Steve Chasman, had two daughters Cylia and Shana, and returned to France after their 2022 separation.
