MW4 multiplayer embraces ultra-fluid movement and parkour-inspired options
Infinity Ward's From The Ward episode reveals Modern Warfare 4's multiplayer will feature a highly fluid, parkour-inspired movement system—enabling seamless transitions from sprinting to sliding, mantling, and climbing—aiming to address past criticisms of MW2's movement. A summer beta is planned ahead of the full October 23, 2026 release across PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Switch 2.
