Columbia Officer-Involved Shooting Near Garners Ferry Road Leaves Two Officers Shot, Suspect Dead
Columbia police are investigating an officer-involved shooting near Hazelwood Road; two officers were shot and the suspect is dead. Garners Ferry Road is blocked as law enforcement agencies, including SLED and the Richland County Sheriff’s Department, assist in the investigation. Officials say more information will be released at 6 p.m.
