Nationwide Pro-Palestinian Demonstrations Erupt Against Israeli Actions
Dozens of protesters gathered in Hollywood, Florida, to demonstrate against Israel's offensive in the Gaza Strip. Organized by the Broward County chapter of Black Lives Matter, the peaceful protest saw participants waving signs and chanting slogans in solidarity with the people of Palestine. Counter-protests and violence have occurred in other demonstrations across South Florida. The protesters called for an end to Israeli aggression and for the United States to redirect funds from war to reparations and reconstruction.
