Google's Limited Edition Pixel Fold Commemorates Hip Hop's 50th Anniversary

Google is celebrating the 50th anniversary of Hip Hop by releasing a special edition Pixel Fold, featuring a unique logo engraved on the camera housing. Only 400 of these devices were made and they are being gifted through Google's #GiftFromGoogle initiative. The Pixel Fold Hip Hop Edition is technically the same as the standard device but comes with additional goodies such as a Victrola portable record player, jewelry, a box set of records, Pixel Buds Pro wireless earbuds, and a Pixel Watch smartwatch. Unfortunately, the special edition Pixel Fold is not available for purchase.

Limited-edition Pixel Fold and Bellroy's leather case celebrate hip hop's 50th anniversary

Google has created a limited-edition version of the Pixel Fold to celebrate the 50th anniversary of hip hop. The special edition foldable features metallic accents and a hip hop emblem, but it is not available for sale. Instead, Google is giving it out to select individuals through its #GiftFromGoogle program. The package includes a Pixel Watch, Pixel Buds Pro, bling from Simone I. Smith, and a vinyl box set from Mass Appeal. The phone is packaged in a suitcase record player crafted by Victrola. This is not the first time Google has celebrated hip hop culture, as it previously featured an interactive Doodle in 2017.
