Gaethje dismisses Topuria's gloves-cheating accusation after White House bout
Justin Gaethje rejected Ilia Topuria's insinuation that he cheated to win their June UFC Freedom 250 bout on the White House lawn, with Gaethje securing the undisputed lightweight title as Topuria retired in round four due to an eye injury. Topuria later teased a return and floated the glove-cheating claim, which Gaethje dismissed as a lame excuse. A potential rematch remains possible, and there has been talk that the winner could earn a future title shot.
