GM's 2027 Midsize Trucks Gain 350 HP, Trailing Only Ford Raptor
The 2027 Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon will feature GM's new 2.7L TurboMax engine, producing 350 hp and 455 lb-ft of torque. This update makes them the most powerful midsize trucks in the U.S. market, except for the Ford Ranger Raptor. The engine replaces the previous L3B unit and was originally announced for full-size pickups.
