
Grain Talks and Hunger as a Weapon: Latest Updates from Istanbul and Kremlin
Deputy defense ministers of Turkey, Ukraine, Russia, and UN officials have started talks in Istanbul to discuss the operation of the "grain corridor" and ensure stability. Turkey is the only country that can maintain communication with both Ukraine and Russia. The Black Sea Grain Agreement, signed on July 22, has transported 30 million tonnes of grain to the needy. Turkey had earlier announced the resumption of the "grain corridor".
