Grand Condé Pink Diamond Returns to Chantilly for Centennial Display
The Grand Condé, a rare nine-carat pink diamond, is returning to public display at the Château de Chantilly in France. This marks the first time the gem has been shown since it was stolen in an amateur heist in October 1926. The exhibition, which runs until January 3, coincides with the 100th anniversary of the theft and includes new forensic analysis and archival materials.
