Searching for my great-grandfather's grave in Norway.
A woman traveled from the UK to Norway to visit her great-grandfather's grave, only to find out that his gravestone had been removed in 2007 due to damage. With the help of kind strangers, she was able to find out what happened and pay her respects. She later learned that most gravestones in Norway are free for 20 years, after which families are usually asked to pay for upkeep. If they don't, the gravestone is usually removed.
